I lova the pasta and I lova the Dreamfields. I lova linguinni, I lova Spaghetti and I lova the low carb. Bellisimo!

 Hi-tech meets Lo-carb, 2008-04-17
These taste exactly like regular pasta. Dreamfields tells us that that is because for the most part this is regular pasta. The pasta, or the original wheat, has been scientifically modified so that the starches do not breakdown quickly, and move lower in the digestive tract before they are finally "digested." However, that low in the system they are not absorbed into your body anymore.
On the one hand, it gives you a perfectly fine flavored low-carb (that is, low-effective-carbs, since there are, in fact just as many Carbs in this as in Barilla's) pasta for your low-carb diet. On the other hand, it is a bit spooky to think the pasta just may be changing the way my whole body works.
When I need a pasta fix I eat Dreamfields, but given the techno-wheat that makes it up, I try to keep my pasta fixes infrequent.
I'm still rating it 5-stars for flavor and similarity to non low-carb pastas.

best way to lose weight, 2008-04-15
This pasta tastes as good or better than "regular" pasta. It is an easy, no pain way to lose weight by cutting carbohydrates without having to give up taste or texture. We love it.

I love this stuff. I keep reading the box to try and figure out if it is really lo carb. Until further research comes out, I will beleive it and eat it. It's great with eggs fried in it! Yum. Amazon has the best price I have found.

Dreamfield Pasta, 2008-03-27
Perfect for a low-carb diet. Tastes as good as Barilla. Worth the extra cost. Wish they still carried it in my grocery stores in Alabama.
